Get backstage access at MUNTHE's campaign shoot of the beautiful Pre Spring 2021 collection, which you can find online and in physical stores now.

The collection, which is named after one of Paris' most beautiful areas; Le Marais, is inspired by some of the most celebrated Parisian women of all time - and this very authentic district in the heart of Paris. Le Marais is the epitome of diversity wrapped in beautiful surroundings, which with its atmosphere and charisma go to the heart of most people.

Naturally, the original plan, back in May, was to shoot the campaign in a Parisian dream of an apartment - up under the beautiful roofs of Le Marais. With grand window sections and French nostalgia throughout the room. But as with so much else, Covid19 put a stop to traveling to distant destinations and gathering many different people for a production. We therefore decided to shoot the campaign where we could come closest to a Parisian apartment, namely in the studio The Lab in Copenhagen.

The model in the campaign is - despite her very French look - pure Danish and lives in Copenhagen. It is the influencer Sophia Roe who, in just a few years, has made her mark as a global style icon.


"The choice fell on Sophia, because she encapsulates MUNTHE's values ​​in the best way possible - and with her francophile look she is just perfect for this particular collection. Sophia gives off personality and drive. She is both fragile and possesses lots of weight at the same time "- says Naja Munthe.

The Pre Spring 21 campaign is photographed by the renowned international fashion photographer Marco Van Rijt, who has gradually shaped the fashion industry for many years with his at the same time cool, beautiful and modern style. Marco's ability to capture moments where the models are naturally beautiful without it seeming constructed creates a visual language in all the images.
